World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and improvements. They can be acquired through the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When the weapon is upgraded it gains an initial damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a number of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects, and some have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. The majority of them require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from the weapon, armor or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered through the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool for an item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then modified to give different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied at once and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both upgrade materials differ: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can increase your armour defense and, finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. In particular, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before any other gear, since this will increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be extremely effective in boosting a weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to increase the performance of certain weapons, armors trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. They can also provide other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade. Most types of armor can be upgraded, but certain items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.
Full Write-up of armor upgrades provide some improvement to an item's base defense or strength. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant increases to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also provide specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be extremely useful in combat. For example, they can boost attack speed or block. Some upgrades have effect that are passive and can be useful for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77, and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of damage caused by poison spells, curses, magic or fire. This makes them very useful for certain types of builds. There are other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, like using the engineer attribute to increase armor penetration or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in the stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different tier of potion effects, and can be re-used to increase the potency.
The potions also get the ability to select a custom color that can be set by the player using the /give. The color will affect the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions, now have a distinct brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. The potions are lingering and can be made with splash potions or dragon breath and a thick pot that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Bug Tracker is the place to report issues relating to this patch.
Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket is believed to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more prevalent. At present the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require a small amount of energy.
The magic of this enchanted scepter seems to affect the dungeon itself which makes it more likely to produce water and grass. At its current level this trinket can make X% of the floors become filled with grass or water, but doesn't affect enchantments or glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items generated to help solve hazard rooms.
This item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely reducing your field-of-view. At the present time, this trinket can increase the total health gained from drinking potions of healing, waterskins, and wells of health by X% and gives you the ability to see enemies within Y tiles. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates in Skull Cavern. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause a random effect on the trinket, either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as many times as you'd like however it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by a small amount.
